Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a non traditional take on a Nutcracker. while scrolling through Google images, I came across some pastel water colored images I wanted to recreate.
This A2 Tall Nutcracker Die, is my FAVORITE new product!!! I used pink, gold, white and black cardstock to dress up the nutcracker. I backed him on vellum cardstock. I dressed up his hat with a holly sprig from Santa's Hot Cocoa Mug Die and used the snowflake die for the background. I inked up the background with distress oxide inks in shades broken china and stormy sky. I added some splashes of water and than some paint splatters.
I scattered some Vintage Bulbs Sequin Mix to the background. The sentiment is from the stamp set, Swanky Christmas Sentiments and the coordinating Die.
Thanks for stopping by for a peek! Hope you have a great week!

Hello, Picket Fence friends!! I hope this finds you all well!! I love sending funny Christmas cards to friends who have a good sense of humor!! When I saw the Name Off the Good List Stamp Set, I knew immediately who I would send it to!! I LOVE when that happens!! Let’s get to my card!!
I began by stamping the Santa and sentiment from Name Off the Good List onto white cardstock with black hybrid ink. I colored Santa with Copic markers, then cut it and the sentiment out with the Coordinating Dies.
For the background, I die-cut the A2 Evergreens On a Hill Cover Plate Die from heavyweight white cardstock. I mixed Winter Snowfall Paper Glaze with a bit of Sparkle Paper Glitz and spread it onto the bottom of the panel with a palette knife. I added some Leaf Green Paper Glaze to the trees with my finger, to create some texture.
Once that was dry, I adhered it to an A2 size panel of dark blue cardstock, then a white card base. I diluted some Winter Snowfall Paper Glaze and splattered it onto the background with a paint brush. That dried pretty quickly, then I adhered Santa and the sentiment with foam tape. The snowflakes are from the Letters to Santa Mix and were the perfect finishing touch for my scene!!
I love how this turned out!! How about you…do you like humorous or traditional cards for Christmas? I like to tailor them to the recipient and, like I said, I have the perfect person in mind for this one!
Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Tomorrow is the 14th and you know what that means…it’s RELEASE DAY!! YAY!!
Have a great Thursday!!

Hello there! Michelle here, wishing all our fellow American's a very Happy 4th of July! There is still time to shop today's sale and possibly grab the items I used for this card!!

Colorful Hummingbird's Song Slimline Card
by Heejung Hunsberger on Jun 24 2022

Hello!
I had a wonderful trip to Korea last few weeks. I almost forgot to share this colorful Hummingbird's Song slimline card to you.
I stamped the hummingbirds images with 6 different colors. ( Stamp set- A Hummingbird's Song- New release of June)
I inked a red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple color on the hummingbird stamp, after blending the color and color boundaries, stamp on the white card stock and die cut the image. (I used Inkon3 mini cube inks)
Place the birds of each color underneath, place the birds blended in different colors on top of them, and paste them on the cards.
I decorated with sequins around the birds.
Thank you for stopping by! and Happy Stamping!

Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a mini slim line card using the new Grunge Foliage stamp set. I am sold on the mini slim line design and the Picket Fence Mini Slim Line Double Stitched Rectangles Die Cutting System is my absolute favorite go to!!!
I use my Misti to do all my stamping and it comes in very handy for the seamless stamps. After I stamped the background with Goddess Green Ink on 3 ink, I added some paint splatter to the kraft cardstock panel. When dried, I aasembled the panels to the card base. I propped up the layer between the green cardstock and black card base with Foam Tape. I embossed the perfect sentiment, Kindness Matters, from the stamp set Fancy Daily Sentiments and Coordinating Die with silver embossing powder.
Some finishing touches include Green Seas Sequin Mix and black twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by for a peek!!! Hope you have a great week!

Hello Friends,
Today I have a card to share with you using the Current of Fish Stencil and Gold Rose Glaze.
I colored three different blue colors of water coloring on the watercolor paper first, and dry it completely.
This current of fish stencil is 6 x 6 size, taped the stencil from behind of water-colored paper.
Using a mixed media spatula, I applied a paper Glaze Gold Rose.
I removed the stencil, cleaned it and the spatula and set the panel aside to dry.
I guess it might be not easy to color with water color for the beginner. but it is very easy to do stencil.
I want to have some dimension to the word die-cut,I would have die cut the hello there die a third on white card stock and added it on top. I think having a bit of dimension really helps to make it stand out.
I hope enjoyed this project, Thank you for stopping by! I will be a card with new release next month!
Happy Crafting!

Hello there! Michelle here, so happy to share this card with you today! I used the Swirly heart A2 Stencil as my focal point. I inked it up with distress oxide inks in shades tattered rose, worn lipstick and aged mahogany.
I masked up the perimeter of the stenciled heart and stamped the twine bow from the stamp set, Handmade Twine Bows. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set, Fancy Daily Sentiments. I stamped the bow and sentiment several times with black ink using the one and only MISTI!
I created the frame using Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and propped it up with the most amazing Foam Tape. For a finishing touch, I added a pair of Kaleidoscope Butterflies.
I a hope you check out the products highlighted today!!! Can't wait to see what you create!

by Heejung Hunsberger on Apr 20 2022
Hello, crafty friends, Heejung here with you to share a card using the Slim Line Hopes and Dreams Butterfly die and Filled to the Brim Stamp set.
I inked up the background using Slim Line Hexagon Randomness Stencil and add distress oxide ink in Tumbled Glass Ink using Life Changing Blender Brushes.

And I inked up the butterfly's wings with some distress oxide inks in shades carved Pumpkin and twisted Squeezed Lemon using Life Changing Blender Brush on white card stock, then die-cut the Slim Line Hopes and Dreams Butterfly from blended color paper.
It isn't easy to put the die-cut pieces of butterfly. I added an adorable girl drinking tea (from Filled to the Brim stamp set )on center of the butterfly.
I finished up with Kaleidoscope Butterflies and fly with me sequins.
I love this slim Line Hopes and Dreams Butterfly die and Filled to the Brim stamp set.

Hello there, Lisa here with you today to share a card using the Full Round Tree Die and I paired it with a sentiment from an older set called Face The Sun
I started by taking two panels of 110lb white cardstock and adding some Stick It Adhesive onto the back of them. Taking the Full Round Tree Die, I then ran each panel through my Gemini Junior a few times as it is an intricate die. I must have been feeling very brave when I decided to cut two of them and stack them together! But I went ahead with it anyway. I adhered the die cuts together gradually working my way around the tree and poking any excess out with my craft pick! This did take some time as you probably would have guessed. However, it really did make a difference having some dimension to the tree and if I had had a bit more patience, I would have die cut a third and added it on top. I think having a bit of dimension really helps to make it stand out from the cardstock behind.
For the background I selected five different coloured cardstocks. I used Concord & 9th Peacock, Oceanside and Sprout, Lawn Fawn Cilantro and Hero Arts Kiwi. I cut these into jaunty triangles with my paper trimmer. This wasn’t as simple as you’d think either. I am sure there must be a quicker (and easier) way to cut them but mine took a while and involved all sorts of pencil lines here there and everywhere. Still, I loved it at the end, so that was also worth the time and I don’t think I have ever created a background like this before!
All the triangles were adhered flat onto a panel of white cardstock that I then added to a top folding A2 base card.
The tree stack was then added on top with wet adhesive. I stamped a sentiment from Face The Sun onto black cardstock, added some White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I trimmed it out and popped it up with foam tape.
A labour of love for sure – not that you would know it. It looks so simple! Thank you for joining me today. I hope that you have a good day, and happy crafting!

Good morning all. Nancy Thomas from Creative Palette here to share a card I created for the March release.
Using the Black Hybrid Ink Pad, I stamped the raccoons, bears, foxes and the various botanicals and hearts from the new The Best Hugs Ever then cut out with the matching dies and did the same with the owls from the More of the Best Hugs Ever stamp and die set. All the images were colored with Copic markers, adding a bit of detail with a white gel pen on the animals and heart. I used the smaller frame from the 5x7 Double Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut from textured white and scarlet jewel cardstock using the inside white piece for my background. I then cut four circles out of it and backed with the woodgrain piece. With a bit of masking I stamped the partial sentiment then added the word die from the More of the Best Hugs Ever die set to finish it out. After securing the frames and inside piece to a 5x7 card base, I attached the images using either glue or foam dimensionals.
Aren't these critters just the cutest?

Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a quick CAS design using the stamp set Carnation Flower Garden, and it's Coordinating Die. I colored the flowers with Copic Markers in shades R22, R24, R59 (petals); G09, G29 (stems, leaves).
Next, I die cut the sentiment word, Happy Birthday Word Topper Die, using black cardstock. I embossed the lower portion of the die with a sentiment from the stamp set, Word Die Topper Subtitles. I adhered the the flowers and word topper die cuts with some Extra Wide Foam.
That's all for today, pretty short and sweet! I hope you enjoy!

Nancy here to share a card using some of the new products from the fabulous new April release. Winter is not letting go yet but I am trying to think of the flowers and butterflies in our future.
I used the new Flying Butterfly die which is an addition to the Slim Line Cutting System to create this clean and simple shaker card. I also used the Extra Wide Foam Roll which is so easy to use since it has double sided adhesive. I filled the shaker space with the also new Heart Breaker Sequin Plus Mix. There were a lot of fun new sequin sets in this release but I think this one might be my favorite. I added a small flower atop the butterfly which came from the new Carnation Flower Garden set as did the sentiment white embossed onto a black card strip. A tiny sequin atop the flower finished it up.
Don't forget the 7 in 7 Event tonight at 6pm CDT on the Picket Fence Studios Community Facebook page. Hope to see you there!

Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a slimline Easter card using some beautiful stamps and dies from Picket Fence Studios newest release.
I stamped Vintage Easter Hodgepodge -part of the Seamless Stamps collection- 3 times using the Misti, which takes the guess work out of aligning stamps for repetition. I chose to do a no line coloring technique and used a beige ink on kraft cardstock. I colored the eggs with Prisma Colored Pencils in pastel shades than added some paint splatter with white paint. Allow to dry.
Next, I used Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail and coordinating Die and followed the same no line coloring technique. I also used Hippity Hoppity to All Coordinating Die for the sentiment. I die cut the word with glitter cardstock and the shodow with white cardstock. I used the large slimline rectangle from Slim Line Die Cutting System and die cut the kraft cardstock panel. I die cut the scalloped panel using Slim Line Die Cutting System- Scallop Frames. I layered the panels, sentiment, and bunny ears onto the card base with Extra Wide Foam Adhesive Tape in white.I added some silver thread behind the sentiment and scattered some Sequin Mix- City of Lights.
That's all for me! Hope you enjoyed this post!
Have a great week!

This month's release from Picket Fence Studios includes a new addition to the Zodiac Girls series, Aries Girl.
I decided to use red and black as my colour palette because the colour associated with the zodiac sign Aries is red. Aries is also ruled by the planet Mars, and Mars is the god of war, and is also associated with red. However, I did not use any red alcohol ink in the background. I used black alcohol ink, smoulder alcohol pearl (which is a bronze/brown colour) and Stirling alcohol alloy ink (the silver). The red colour at the top and bottom edge came from the black ink separatinng into its component colours. I coloured Aries Girl with Copic markers.
Thanks for visiting :)
