Hello everyone, Lisa here today to share a card with you featuring two sweet book lovin' school friends! The featured set is part of the new release and is called Your Next Book Dear. It is perfect for kids returning to school but also it is a great set for all book lovers out there. For my card today, I use the little girl and boy walking to school.
To begin, I stamped the boy and girl onto Neenah 80lb cardstock using Black Hybrid Ink. I coloured them with Copics and then I cut them out with the coordinating dies and set them to one side.
I masked off the bottom part of an A2 white panel and took the Slim Line Horizontal English Brick Wall Stencil and secured that over the top section of the panel. Using Life Changing Blender Brushes, I blended a subtle wall using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.
I then removed the stencil and took the tiled floor image from Slim Line Grass & Waves With Tile and Wood Floor stamp set. I could have used the A2 version of this set but the tiles in the slim line version are bigger so I thought they would work well with the larger brick. So, I stamped them down using Black Hybrid Ink and I then blended Pumice Stone Distress ink over the top using Life Changing Blender Brushes. It's very soft in the photos but in real life it is an ombre blend with the darker section at the bottom of the wall.
I trimmed the panel down and matted it onto a turquoise card base using double sided tape. The sentiment is from the set and was stamped using Versamark Ink onto black cardstock. I added white embossing powder and heat set. The girl, boy and sentiment were all popped up with foam tape for dimension.
Aren't they just so sweet with their big smiles. I'd like to hope that I smiled like that on the way to school but I'm not sure it was every day! Until next time, I hope that you have a great day!

Rainbow Christmas card with Michelle
by Michelle Lupton on Aug 06 2021
Who says Christmas cards can't also be rainbow?
i used three colours of Distress Oxide ink to create this rainbow over the Handcut snowflake 6x6 stencil, and added a stamped sentiment from the Joyeux Noel set. Quick, easy, and a one layer card, so very easy to post.
Thanks for visiting :)

Hello! It's Michelle here today, and I'm sharing a card I made using a die, a stencil, a sequin mix and Paper Glitz.
I used Distress Oxide inks to create the sunset in the background, and then used part of the Handcut Snowflake 6x6 Stencil and some Paper Glitz Sparkle to create the pattern in the sky. I used the Santa's Snowy Hills die to create the three tiers of snowy hills, and ink blended with some blue ink to create dimension between them. I finished with a stamped sentiment, and some snowflake shaped sequins from the Icicles sequin mix.

Beautiful Girl Sandra Summer Shaker
by Larisa Hohman on Jun 23 2021
Hello! Larisa here and today I'm sharing a very bright and festive shaker card. This beauty features Beautiful Girl Sandra! I've paired her with the NEW City Lights Sequin mix as well as the Wave Sun Stencil. This card just screams SUMMER to me!
To create my card, I started with a piece of yellow card stock. I stenciled my sun pattern onto it using my Life Changing Blender Brushes and some Orange Distress Oxide Ink. Then I trimmed it to fit an A2 sized card and mounted it onto a piece of hot pink card stock. I used my sewing machine to stitch on some tulle and filled it with sequins before stitching it closed Then I stamped out my image, colored her up with Copics, and cut her out using the coordinating dies. Using some foam tape and hot glue, I added her to the center of my card panel. Then I added a stitched paper ribbon just under her and layered my "just because" sentiment on top. I just love how this turned out. It's sure to brighten someone's day!

Happy release day! Two of the brand new stamps released today are zodiac signs - Libra Girl and Virgo Girl.
I went with a gold theme for Virgo Girl. I coloured her with Copic markers, giving her blonde hair and a gold background (using the Coloring Book Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks). I added some sparkle to her hair and earrings, too. I finished the cards with a sentiment from Fancy Sentiments.
For my 2nd card, I used the Centre Flower Stencil with one of the new Paper Glaze trios. I coloured the girl with Copic markers again, and finished with her zodiac sign white embossed onto black cardstock.
These are the Copic markers I used for these two images:
Make sure you check out the entire release - it's a great one, with a lot of variety - something for everyone! I've linked all of the new products below.

Slim Line Beautiful Girl Cards with Larisa
by Larisa Hohman on Feb 17 2021

Hello! Larisa here. I hope everyone is keeping warm! Today, I'm sharing two slim line cards featuring the new release and a couple of the beautiful girl stamps.
For my first card, I used the Slim Line Die Cutting System to cut my card base. Then I cut a smaller panel from white card stock and used the new Slim Line English Brick Wall Stencil to add a tan brick wall effect. I die cut a circle from the bottom right hand corner and backed with a black mat. I stamped out my beautiful girl image, colored her up with Copics, and die cut her out using the coordinating die. Then I added some gold thread behind her and popped her in the middle of the circle using foam tape. I added the New Seriously Word Die just above the image and stamped my sentiment just below.
For my next card, I used The Slim Line Die Cutting System to cut my card panel. Then I used the stencil and some Pink Carnation Paper Glaze to create a soft background on a strip of white card stock. Once it was dry, I trimmed it to fit my panel and adhered it down. Then I heat embossed my sentiment in white sand added a strip of gold glitter card stock. For my image, I stamped her out, colored her up with Copics, and cut her out using the coordinating die. Then I popped her up with foam tape.

Hello! Larisa here! Today, I'm sharing a couple of slim line cards using some of the new goodies from the January Release! Slim line cards are all the rage right now and Picket Fence Studios has you covered! So many stencils, dies, and even envelopes! It's your on-stop-shop for all your slim line needs!!!
For my first card, I used the NEW Slim Line Ocean Waves Cover plate. However, instead of creating waves with it, I die cut it from glitter white card stock and made snow! I love that it's so versatile! I layered my glitter panel on top of some white card stock cut with the Slim Line Die Cutting System and added some die cut snowflakes throughout the scene. For my gnomes, I stamped them out, trimmed them apart, colored them with my Copics, and tucked them into the hills of my snow banks. Then I added some of the NEW Spring Fling Sequins and Purple Side of a Rainbow Gems to give it some sparkle. I stamped my sentiment from the More Fancy Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut it out with the coordinating dies (this is one of my favorite sets, by the way! Love it!). Then I popped it on top of my card with some foam tape for added dimension.
For my next card, I created a vertical slim line card. To begin, I die cut a piece of white card stock using the Slim Line Die Cutting System. I die cut a smaller rectangle from white card stock as well and used the NEW The Sleeping Tree Stamp Set to stamp my tree in the center. Then I used some distress inks and the NEW 52 Layers of Clouds Stencil to create my background, careful not to cover the center of my tree image. I colored that in with Copics. Then I die cut some Tall Grass and adhered that to the bottom of the image. I added some of the NEW Fire Gem Mix to my image, matching the colors with the distress inks in the clouds. Then I stamped my sentiment from the Fancy Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set. I used the coordinating dies to cut it out and added it to the bottom of my scene.

Stencil Art with Karen Reategui
by Karen Reategui on Jan 20 2021
Hi friends! Today I'm sharing this slimline card featuring the new Oh, So Many Cards Stamp, Slimline Basket Petals Stencil and the new Gem Mixes.
Let's begin! I die cut a layering base out of a piece of Sea Glass cardstock using the Slim Line Die Cutting System.
I placed on top the Slimline Basket Petals Stencil and using the Life Changing Blender Brushes I applied the following Distress Oxide inks: Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch.
Next, I stamped the Oh, So Many Cards Stamp using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Metallica Silver Embossing Powder.
Then, I adhered a folded card note using glue and as the final touch I put some gems around, I used whites and blues from Purple Side of the Rainbow and Day and Night Gem Mixes.
The list of supplies that I used on this card are below for your convenience. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
Your friend, Karen

I have a pretty-in-pink card to share today!
I used the Slimline Diecutting system to create the card base and the pink panel, then I added some pink stenciling to the pink panel. I stamped and cut out a heap of flowers and leaves, coloured them with pink, purple and pale green Copic markers, and arranged them onto the card front. I then picked them all up with some Press And Seal to make adhering them in the right places easier. I finished with some sequins and a white embossed sentiment on a scrap of purple cardstock.

Happy Ho Ho Ho to you with Karen Reategui

Hello crafty friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios blog sharing these two Christmas cards. I’m featuring Baker’s Twine and HO HO HO Stamp set. Also Gin & Tonic and Moonshine Sequin Mixes.
Let’s begin! For the first card I started by applying distress oxide inks with the Life Changing Blender Brushes to a panel. I used Aged Mahogany, Festive Berries and Abandoned Coral.
Once my panel was dry, I trimmed down the edges and adhered a white folded note card at the back.
Then, I stamped this large sentiment from Ho Ho Ho Stamp and I heat embossed it with WOW! Red Glitz Embossing Glitter. I repeated this step three times to get a bit more of dimension on my sentiment.
Finally, I stamped the images from the Baker’s Twine Stamp and heat embossed them with WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. With a red gel pen I filled in the empty spaces of the twine and lastly, I added a few sequins from Gin & Tonic Sequin Mix.
For the second card I also applied distress oxide inks with the Life Changing Blender Brushes to another panel. I used Black Soot, Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio.
When my panel was dry, I trimmed down the edges and adhered a white folded note card at the back using glue.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from Ho Ho Ho Stamp and I heat embossed it with WOW! Red Glitz Embossing Glitter. I repeated this step three times to get a bit more of dimension on my sentiment.
Last, I stamped the images from the Baker’s Twine Stamp and heat embossed them with WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. I filled in the empty spaces of the twine with a red gel pen and finally, I added a few sequins from Gin & Tonic Sequin Mix and this card was finished.
Thank you so much crafty friends for stopping by and I hope you like these cards and get some inspiration. Please have a wonderful rest of the week.
Blessings,
Karen
