Is it Halloween Yet? with Larisa

Hello! Larisa here and I'm so excited to be sharing a couple of Halloween cards with you guys. I don't know about you, but Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I always get so excited when companies release their Halloween goodies!
For my first card, I used the New Autumn Harvest Collage Stamp. I stamped it just one time in Black Hybrid Ink. Then I die cut a black rectangular frame and and created a shaker element by adding some acetate and a handful of Black Magic Sequin Mix. After my shaker element was created. I stamped my image again and fussy cut the raven from the collage. I popped him up on a die cut scalloped circle from my stash and added it to the bottom left of my card. I also layered on some glitter washi and a stamped sentiment from the Inside Quotes: Christmas Stamp Set. I just masked off the "Christmas" portion of the sentiment. And there you have it, a festive fall card with a bit of a spooky feel.
For my next card, I couldn't resist the New Jack O Lanterns Stamp Set. In fact, the instant I saw it, I squealed with delight. To begin, I stamped my image once on some copic-friendly card stock. Then I colored all the pumpkins white except one. I chose the largest pumpkin in the bottom left corner and colored him up in the traditional orange. Then I trimmed my paper into a square and mounted that on top of some black card stock. I trimmed that so there was a 1/8 inch frame all the way around and then mounted that on a deep purple card stock. I love this stacked frame effect. It really draws your eye into the image. Finally, I stamped my sentiment from the Believe in the Magic Set and heat embossed that with white embossing powder. Sure, this sentiment was meant for Christmas, but if you ask me, it's perfect for Halloween!

I have a bold floral card to share today, using stamps from the May release.
I white embossed the image from "A Rose" in the top left and bottom right of a piece of Canson watercolour paper. I painted the image using Distress Oxide inks in a variety of blue, pink and red colours. I added a sentiment from the Bird of Paradise Flowers stamp set white embossed onto a scrap of black cardstock. I finished with some sequins from the Gin and Tonic sequin mix.

Coffee Understands with Becky Roberts

Hi Stamping Friends!
Becky Roberts of Inking Idaho here today with a couple of coffee cards to share with you.
I used the stamp set Coffee Understands and the Coffee word die.
I colored the girl with Copic markers and placed her on a hand cut tag. I embossed the sentiment in white and then lightly sponged over it with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink.

This card has the sentiments in the stamp set embossed in white for the background.
Both cards backgrounds are stenciled with Distress Oxide ink in Speckled Egg with the Flowers Stencil and the Life Changing Blender Brushes.
I stenciled first, and then embossed.

Hey, hey PFS fans. Thanks for stopping by today, it's Lisa Henke here with some fun citrus cards for you today. I had a great afternoon creating with the Fruitylicious stamp set from our latest release. It's one of our background stamps that is created for continuous stamping. I used it in two different ways today.
This one I combined with the 3.5 inch Blending Stencil. I used a 4x4 square card stock panel and taped it down in my Misti and then lined up the Fruitylicious stamp to cover the center of the circle opening. SO the blending stencil is acting like a mask and allowing the stamp to be added in a circle pattern. I inked the stamp up with two different colors of ink and blended those towards the middle of the stamp. I then added one of the More Fancy Sentiments along the bottom in Intense Black ink. I tucked in some of the awesome new sequins fro the Margarita Mix.
For my second card I used the stamp Fruitylicious stamp but this time I embossed it with white embossing powder and wanted to do some water coloring with the paper glazes.
I used three different colors in the Paper Glazes: Succulent Green, Marigold Orange, and Daffodil Yellow. You guys! It was so easy and turned out so pretty. I love the shimmer the Paper Glazes give. Check it. I added a strip of paper to added the simple, yet elegant sentiment from More Fancy Sentiments.
I love when you can use a stamp in many different ways. This is just a few ideas with the background stamps. I think the fruit is great for summertime. It makes me smile. Have a great day!

Hello everyone!
It's Ceal here to share with you today. I created a card using the A Rose stamp.
To create this card I started with a navy card base and panel. I stamped the rose with embossing ink and embossed it in silver and colored it using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. After I got it colored I wiped it with a paper towel and then placed it back in the Misti and embossed it again so it would be crisp.

Hello, crafty friends! Michelle here today, and seeing as it is my parents' wedding anniversary tomorrow, I couldn't resist but share this card with you today.
I used the Fancy Flourish Stencil on a piece of black cardstock, along with Paper Glazes in Snowdrop White and Golden Rose. I stamped and gold embossed the sentiment from Fancy Sentiments onto a strip of black cardstock, then mounted this entire panel onto a mat of gold mirror cardstock, before adding it to a square white card base. I added some sequins as a finishing touch.

It's Michelle here today to share a card I made using a gorgeous stamp from the April release from Picket Fence Studios, with WOW! Embossing powder.
I embossed the Wild Wildflowers stamp with WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder onto watercolour cardstock before adding colour using Zig clean colour real brush markers. I then sprayed the panel with water to get the colours moving, and I repeated this process a couple of times until I was happy with the depth of colour.
I added a white die cut "Love Ya" sentiment adhered to a strip of vellum which I wrapped around the watercolour panel before adhering to a white card base. I finished with a few clear sequins to add some shine.

Grow Through What you Go Through

Hello! I couldn't decide what I wanted to share with you today so I am sharing two encouragement cards and one belated birthday card!
I watercolored the beautiful Ponchatoula Strawberries image and then highlighted several areas with Inktense Pencils. This set comes with a coordinating die set which allows you to not only die-cut this large image but several smaller leaves, flowers, and berries as well! The berries overflow the gorgeous Terranium Die in silver foil. Lastly, I added a sentiment from the amazing Face the Sun stamp set.
Next up is a fun belated birthday card. I need more of this type of card than any other. I am always late! I watercolored on black cardstock for the background. Such a fun technique! The Wild Wildflowers was heat embossed in white and the sentiment is from Seriously, Literally, Always.
After creating several cards in a row with dark backgrounds it was time to lighten things up a bit! I used the Leaves and Flower Stencil with LC Blender Brushes also sold in a Bundle. The sentiment is once again from the fabulous Face the Sun set.
In conclusion, embrace the day, grow through what you go through and send out those birthday cards even if they are late!

Watercolour Tulips with Michelle

Hello! It's Michelle here today to share a watercolour emboss resist card I made using the Early Tulips Bouquet stamp set from Picket Fence Studios.
I stamped the floral image onto watercolour cardstock with Versamark ink and white embossed it. I then added scribbles of red, orange, emerald green and olive green watercolour markers (I used Zig markers) and then sprayed the panel with water. I dried the panel with a heat tool before adding more colour and repeating the process. When I came to the background, I added the deep blue and the aqua colour, but I used a waterbrush to spread the colour instead of spraying with water, beecause I didn't want to risk the colours bleeding where I didn't want them to and ending up with a murky brown mess!

Hello! Picket Fence Studios has a wide variety of stamps and dies so that you can create something new and unique for every personality type in your life! With more and more of us currently sheltering in place, there has never been a better time to send out homemade happy mail. Today I am featuring two different card styles with sentiments from one beautiful floral stamp. This is a fine example of how versatile PFS Stamp sets really are!
First up is a graphic style card. I die cut the Word Bubbles from an alcohol background then I created a shadow from black cardstock. The sentiment is from Early Tulips Bouquet. Lastly, I adore the birds from the Chirp, Chirp set so I added one! (Chirp Chirp also comes in a bundled set)
For my next card, I created a soft floral card with A Bride's Bouquet. I stamped the bouquet and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Next, I used Inktense pencils to watercolor the image. Lastly, I added a sentiment from Early Tulips Bouquet.

Hello Everyone!
It's Ceal here! Right now times are tough and everyone could use a little encouragement so I have been making cards to send out to friends and family just to let them know I am thinking about them.
To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a bristol panel, I have found that ink blends really well using the Life Changing Blender Brushes and Bristol card stock.
I started by blending Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean distress oxide inks with the Life Changing Blender Brushes and a little water to create my background. Next I stamped the water bubbles from the set A Bottomless Sea with embossing ink and embossed it with Under The Sea embossing glitter by WOW embossing. They are so sparkly here is an up close photo
I stamped the sea turtles from the Swim in the Sea set, colored them using Copic markers and then cut them out with the Coordinating dies. These sea turtles remind me of Squirt and his dad in the Finding Nemo movie I love them!
To finish my card I added a sentiment from the A Bottomless Sea set that is so encouraging and reminds us that no matter what we are going through we are never alone.

Funky Leaves Stencil cards, two ways, with Erica

Hi guys!
It's Erica back on the PFS Blog today. I've used the Funky Leaves Stencil, in two different ways. Ok, so the cards both started out the same way but I finished them off differently and I got very fun results.
To start with I sprayed the Funky Leaves Stencil with Pixie Spray to make sure it stays in one place so I get clean straight lines. Then, armed with a Life Changing Blender Brush and some inks (Mountain Mist from Altenew and Goddess Green from Ink On 3) I blended a panel each with each colour. Not all over, oh no, my ombré obsession is going nowhere fast.
On the Mountain Mist panel I then went back in with the Embossing Pad from WOW! Embossing and on top of that I sprinkled Aquamarine Glitter Powder. This I set with the dual heat gun on the lowest setting, from underneath the panel, to keep the glitter in place. I also trimmed this panel down a little bit.
I didn't want to cover up all that gorgeous glitter too much so what to do? I heat embossed the Happy Birthday from Fancy Sentiment on a strip of vellum, in Platinum embossing powder and then wrapped this around the panel.
This I adhered to a light grey card base and with that card no1 was done.
Card no2, done with the Goddess Green ink, I did the same Happy Birthday sentiment for. Also in Platinum, on vellum. After wrapping the sentiment strip around the background I adhered the whole thing to a card base.
To give this one a bit more interest, I added lots of Nuvo Jewel Drops in Key Lime. I used the leaf shape and added drops of different sizes to them and then set the card aside to dry.

Hello Everyone
It's Ceal, here to share a couple cards using the Swallowtail Beauty with you today. I was supposed to post on Wednesday and I still had brain fog from Creativation and totally forgot.
The January release was fabulous and huge and this stamp is one of my favorites because I love butterflies. I shared the second card on release day on my blog but wanted to share it here along with the top one I created after I got back home.
For the first card I used Fadeout ink for no line watercoloring and the new Atelier inks from Ink on 3. You can find the links to these on my blog, Simply Beautiful.
The Fadeout ink along with the Atelier inks make it so easy to no line watercolor and we have several new stamps like the Swallowtail Beauty that are begging to be watercolored.
The card below I stamped the Swallowtail Beauty in embossing ink and then embossed it using Brutus Monroe Alabaster Sparkle. I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend a rainbow of colors over it. The greeting is from the Forever & Ever set.

Hello! Michelle here today to share a card I made using products from the January release at Picket Fence Studios.
I stamped the Swallowtail Beauty stamp in Picket Fence Studios black hybrid ink onto some watercolour cardstock. I added clear embossing powder and heat set it.
I then watercoloured the image with blue on the butterfly and pink around the edges.
I added a gold mat around the panel, and gold embossed a sentiment from "A Bride's Bouquet" onto black cardstock with its own gold mat.

I Love You The Mostest, Ink Blending

Hi guys!
Do you have a favourite technique that you come back to again and again, or reach for when you feel low on mojo? I absolutely LOVE ink blending myself. I have always loved the look of it but man, did I have to work hard for it before the Life Changing Blender Brushes came into my life...!
Now I get the most incredible blend and smooth results, it's almost hard to think back to a time I found it so difficult. These brushes have spoilt me!
Today I am going to blog a card I have already shown, while I was having some commitment issues with the switch over from the old blog to the new. I was locked out and couldn't get back in, no matter what I tried. But all sorted now, thankfully!
I used a new to me stencil, the 3 1/2" Blending Stencil, for this card but it's not available at the moment. There is a slightly smaller one called 2 1/2" Blending Stencil that can be used in the same way.
First of all I heat embossed 'I Love You The Mostest' in gold embossing powder, directly onto a card base. Then I placed the stencil right over it, so the sentiment was right in the middle of the circle. Using my Life Changing Blender Brushes, I blended Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry in a gradient way.
For those of you good at CAS/Clean And Simple cards, you probably would have stopped at one circle. I on the other hand, am not so good at those kinds of cards so I kept moving the stencil and adding a pattern.
You'd think I would stop there, right? Well.... no, not me. I went ahead and added a generous splattering of gold all over it as well. Since that forced me to stop doing stuff to it while it was drying, I made myself stop there but I was thinking a few sequins or other kind of embellishments might have looked nice. I know, I am a menace... Once I'm on a roll, it's get out of the way or get glitter bombed, basically, lol!
I have had so many lovely comments on this card, and people have pointed out it's easy enough to change up the colours and sentiments to fit all sorts of occasions. Which is all very true. I'd love to see what you would come up with using this as a basic inspiration.
