The Reason for the Season with Julia

Hello everyone! Julia here today to share this Christmas card with you created with new products from Picket Fence studios.

For this card I paired You MakeThis World Better Cover Plate Die  and For the Holidays stamp set.

I used two pieces of white card stock. One of these I coated with Silver Bells Paper Glitz, the second one - with Navy Wingtips Paper Glitz and set them aside to dry. Whenever I use Paper Glitz I do my background first to give time to dry while I work on the other elements.

While the panels were drying I stamped For the Holidays image onto white card stock in Nautical Blue Memento ink and fussy cut a part of the image.

Then I die cut a frame using You Make This World Better Cover Plate Die from the blue panel. Use the glue with the fine tip to glue them together before gluing them to the center of the art piece.

After that I stamped the sentiment from Fancy Christmas Sentiments in red ink using my Misti and die cut with Fancy Christmas Sentiments Coordinating Die Set.

Finally I added some Fire Gems and the card was ready.
