This is a Paper Hug with Julia
Hello everyone! Julia here and today I'm sharing this slimline card featuring Drop by to say Croak stamp set, Paper Glaze Ombre-Grass Greens and the new Word Topper die - This is a Paper Hug.
Let's begin!
Whenever I use Paper Glaze, I do my background first to give it time to day whilst I work on the other elements.
So to start making the background I splashed a few different sprays that I found in my stash on the watercolor paper surface and set it aside to dry.
I stamped two images of the cute frogs from Drop by to Say Croak stamp set , cut them with Coordinating dies and colored them using YG 20, 21, 23 Copic markers. Then I came back to the card front. I spread the Grass Greens Paper Glaze Ombre through the Slim Line Lily Pads stencil . Once the layer was dry, I tited the edges by the die cutting with the Slim Line Die Cutting System.
Finally, over this, I added the new Topper die - This is a paper hug (there are a bunch of these in the release). What a love about them, in the strip underneath is a big enough to add a second sentiment. For this one I took the sentiment from Listen for the Joy stamp set and white heat embossed it.
The final step is to add some Sequin Mix-Pot of Gold on the panel and the card is ready.
