Hi, friends! It's Andrea back with you to share a colorful card combining a bunch of products from the January release. This release has everything you need to make lots of fun projects perfect for any celebration!
Let's start with that amazing Hooray Word Die. It really packs a punch and can carry a card all by itself! I diecut it three times from white cardstock and layered the pieces together. For the glittery "hooray", I first spread Buttercream Paper Glitz onto white cardstock and, once that was dry, cut out the word and glued it on top of the white layers. That's one of the great things about Paper Glitz: You can make your own glitter cardstock at a fraction of the cost!
Speaking of making your own glitter cardstock, I also love making my own "patterned" paper. The new Birthday Dance Confetti stamp (and all of PFS background stamps, for that matter) make doing that super easy! For a tone-on-tone look, I inked up the stamp with pink ink and stamped it onto pink cardstock. I trimmed down the panel slightly, adhered it to a white card, and affixed the layered diecut on top.
Have you checked out the new Sugar and Calorie-Free Cake stamp? I love all of the fun images and couldn't resist adding one to this card. I stamped that fun cake with Black Hybrid Ink and colored it with Copics. I also added two of the cupcakes from the new Wreath Building Cupcakes for You set. I popped up my colored images with foam tape and finished with a scattering of sequins from the new Spring Has Sprung sequin mix.
Thanks for stopping by!
