Hi there! It's Sara, and today I'm here to share a slight obsession with you. You see, I had a little "problem" with one of the stamps this month - the problem was I could not set it down! Today, I'm sharing several cards, all featuring the beautiful stamp A Sunflower.
I colored the sunflower image with Polychromos pencils. The sentiment was multiple die cuts stacked together and the final (top) die cut was cut from card stock that had the Glitz spread across it, and allowed to dry. For the background, I inked the olive color, then added the gold Glaze color in spots. I used the Glaze as fingerpaint to add a little shine to the leaves as well.
For this card, I used:
- A Sunflower Stamp, and Coordinating Die
- More Ash Leaves, More Maple Leaves, and More Oak Leaves Die Sets
- Shadow of Leaves 6x6 Stencil
- Pecan Pie Filling Paper Glitz
- Santa's Favorite Colors Paper Glaze Ombres (the gold)
- Sands of Time Gem Mix
This second card actually has a video tutorial for it! In our Facebook Community Group this month, I recreated this card for you as a live event, and you can watch it come together step by step in the replay.
