Hi there!  It's Sara, from Much Love, Sara.  Today I have a card for you that features the AMAZING burger image from the new Dad's Day Stamp Set that was part of the May release.

This fun Cheese to my Burger card, was created with the brand new Dad's Day stamp set, along with the Gingham Background stamp. Image was colored using Prismacolor Colored pencils.

I began the card by stamping the image onto my favorite coloring paper, with a light ink for no-line coloring.  I used my Prismacolor pencils to color in the image, adding in a white gel pen for the sesame seeds on top of the bun.  I will admit, this took some time to color the way I like.  But, if it was stamped in a darker toned ink, you can color the image in much more quickly, because the stamp actually helps you with the shading.

Once the image was colored to my satisfaction, I trimmed the panel down slightly.  I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Dad's Day Stamp Set, onto a strip of black card stock.  Then I stamped the Gingham Background Stamp onto a piece of white card stock, using a coral ink, and trimmed a strip off for my card.

I adhered all of the pieces together and wrapped a bit of red twine around the Gingham portion of the card.  The card front was adhered to a white top-folding card base, using foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed this card, and can see that the Dad's Day Stamp Set isn't just for Father's Day - you can use it for lots of other occasions too!

    Much Love,
