Hey cardmaking friends and Happy Friday. Today I have a stenciled peonies slimline card to share with you created with new products from Picket Fence Studios.
This stencil is fabulously easy to use, has amazing detail and provides a beautiful backdrop for the "I love you" sentiment, which is also new this month.
How to create the Stenciled Peonies Slimline Card
Use the Slim Line Nested Rectangles Dies to cut the stitched edge art piece.
Lay the stencil down on the right side of the art piece. Use the Life Changing Blending brushes to add Gina K Dusty Rose and Simon Says Stamp Pearfection inks through the stencil.
Clean the stamp and dry it well before flipping it over and doing the same thing on the left side of the art piece.
Next, Cut a mat of Gina K Key Lime cardstock 1/8" bigger than the art piece for the mat.
Create a card base with an 8 x 9" piece of Hammermill white cardstock, scoring it at 4. Finally, attach the art piece to the card front.
Creating the Sentiment:
Die cut the sentiment from Gina K Dusty Rose cardstock to match the ink used for the peonies.
Next, cut the shadow background from a scrap of Hammermill white.
Use the Bearly Art glue with the fine tip to glue them together before gluing them to the center of the art piece.
Finally, embellish with Picket Fence Studios Pink Camo Sequins.
