Our friends at Simon Says Stamp have an amazing fundraiser going on right now for Huntington's Disease Society of America.  "Huntington’s Disease (HD) is a rare, genetic, neurodegenerative disease with a devastating impact on individuals and entire families. It is hereditary and it is terminal."

Simon Says Stamp is offering crafty parcels of goodies for sale with 100% of the proceeds going to support the Central Ohio HDSA, or have a link where you can donate directly.  You can find out more information at this link.

Hello!  It's Sara, from Much Love, Sara. Today's card is one that I recreated for last week's 7 in 7.  If you haven't seen it yet, you can join the Picket Fence Studios Community Group on Facebook and catch the replay, to see exactly how the whole card came together (along with a few tips and tricks!).

I began this card, by stamping the images from the My Pet Unicorn Dear Stamp Set in Fadeout Ink from Inkon3.  I colored them in using my Polychromos pencils.  Once the images were colored, I die cut them using the coordinating dies.  From the card stock I cut the images from, I also die cut the Cloud Dies.
Using the Life Changing Blender Brushes, I created the rainbow background for the card.  The Distress Oxide colors I used are: Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Festive Berries, Broken China, Prize Ribbon, Mowed Lawn, Seedless Preserves, Villainous Potion, and Black Soot.  I used the leftover ink on the Seedless Preserves brush to lightly shade the cloud die cuts as well.  Once the blending was done, I added a sprinkling of water, and a sprinkling of Sparkle Paper Glitz mixed with water.  After that dried, I added the clouds with the Cloud Coverage Stencil, and Inkon3's Shark Tooth White Ink.  I allowed that to dry, before heat embossing the sentiment on the background.
To finish up the card, I adhered the background to a white card base.  I glued the cloud dies together, then attached the Unicorn Dear image on top of them.  Then I attached the image layer to the background with foam tape.  A scattering of Iridescent Moonshine Sequins added a final touch.
I hope you enjoyed today's project.  Find more cards using products from Picket Fence Studios over on my blog.  Have a fantastic day!

Much Love,
