"Hi there! I’m Nonni, a card maker and classical musician from Finland. I work as a clarinet player in Lahti Symphony Orchestra. Along with the orchestra I also teach clarinet and play chamber music concerts and gigs... So life can get busy! For more than a decade already, card making has been my escape and my happy place. It’s my way to unwind in between learning new concert programs and telling off the young adults for not practicing enough! ;) I love all things color: alcohol markers, watercolors, water color markers, beautiful color combos, unexpected color combos… Coloring in flower images is maybe my all time favorite thing in card making. I enjoy many messy and inky techniques too but I always tend to keep the general style of my cards pretty clean and simple. When I’m not working or card making, you’ll find me sprucing up our late 19th century home with my partner or digging in the garden with my schnauzer Rafa. I also love communicating with my many very dear crafty online friends that I’ve got to know through the crafty bogland and Instagram. ”
