Hello there! It's Sara from Much Love, Sara. I have a bright and cheery card to share with you today - featuring the new Fruitylicious Stamp, the Pucker Up Stamp Set, and the Pucker Up Coordinating Die. As soon as I saw the new Fruitylicious Stamp, I knew I had to combine these two into a card!
I began by lining up the Fruitylicious Stamp in my MISTI. This 3.5" stamp, is one of Picket Fence Studios repeating stamps - meaning you can stamp it one on top of another, or side by side, to create a seamless pattern. I inked the stamp set up with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink, in a few random spots, and then went back over the spots I had "left blank" with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. Then I stamped the image onto a piece of white card stock. I realigned my card stock, to repeat the pattern, and again used the Distress Inks to create the variegated background.
I stamped the lemon image from the Pucker Up Stamp Set, in Black Hybrid Ink, onto both yellow and green card stocks. Then I die cut both image using the Coordinating Die. Once die cut, I used a pair of small snips to cut the lemons out of the yellow die cut.
I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to add a bit of extra shading to the die cuts, in the form of Fossilized Amber, and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. I also used a white colored pencil to fill in the flower on the green die cut. Then I adhered the yellow lemons on top of the lemons on the green die cut.
I stamped and white heat embossed the "Pucker Up" sentiment onto a piece of aqua card stock, which I also used to mat the Fruitylicious background. I also die cut a vellum circle to add a little more separation to the lemon image, from the background.
The pieces were adhered together, and attached to the white card base, with liquid adhesive and foam tape. A few colorful sequins from the Margarita Sequin Mix completed the card.
This card was fun to create, and a lot quicker than you might think. It'll hopefully bring a little sweet (& sassy!) sunshine to whomever does receive it.
Much Love,
