Hi, friends! It's Andrea back with you to share a card that features a beautiful, pink butterfly left over from this card. Waste not, want not, as they say! I say, work smarter, not harder (although I don't always adhere to that)!
The butterfly was created with the Layering Fauna Butterfly Dies. I describe how I did that in the post linked above. I backed the outline with vellum and inlaid a black body cut with the dies.
For my background I blended some of the same pink inks used on the butterfly through the Polka Dot Scarf 6x8 Stencil. I applied the ink with the Life Changing Blender Brushes, allowing it to fade to white on the edges. I trimmed down the panel, matted it with black cardstock, and adhered it to a white card.
I stamped a sentiment from the Somebunny Loves You stamp in Black Hybrid Ink. After affixing the butterfly with a thin strip of foam tape down the body, I finished with a few sequins from the Spring Has Sprung Sequin Mix.
Thanks for stopping by!
