Welcome Winter by Theary Chea

Hello there! It's Theary back on the blog again. I am so excited to share a special card I created using old and new products from the shop. If you guys missed the November release, be sure to check it out here. 👉November 2022 Release.

This card was simple to make. I fell in love with the Frolicking Winter Friends stamp set and knew I needed to pair it with the Building Group of Tree Stumps.

I colored the adorable critters with alcohol markers, used the coordinating dies, and ran that through my die-cutting machine.

I stamped the Building Group of Tree Stumps onto the center of an alcohol-friendly white-colored cardstock. I colored the stumps using alcohol markers before placing masking paper over them.

Then, with my Life Changing Blender Brushes, I blended a pink shade of ink onto the cardstock. To create more interest in the scene, I used the Snowball Fight Stencil and blended that onto the background scene using the same color ink.

Now for the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment from Welcome Winter Wreath in black ink. To create the snow effect, I painted white paint over different areas of the card front.

And to finish it off, I adhered the images with liquid adhesive and foam squares. Then, I mounted it to a card base.
