Two completely different cards using The Best Dirt

It is summer in Norway, we've actually just come out of a little heat wave, which is not normal here, at least not so early in the year. So therefore I have some summery cards to show you today. Both cards are made with the stamps from The Best Dirt stamp set. It is fun to make completely different cards using the same stamp set. The first card has focus on layout and loads of white space, whereas the second mostly focuses on colouring.

First I have a card where I have played around with the new 1.5″ Connected Squares Shaker creator die to create a diamond shaped pattern of windows for the cute girls. I deliberately chose a completely different colour for the sentiment here, to make it stand out. The sentiment is from the Espresso Yourself stamp set. To finish off I used loads of foam pads to raise the panel and then some sequins from the Lake Tahoe Embellishment jar.

For the second card I have masked together various of the stamps. They are all stamps from The Best Dirt stamp set. I've stuck with yellow, peach and pink colours for the dresses this time, and then used a card base to match the peach coloured dress. I've kept the full width of the coloured panel, but trimmed the top and bottom to stamp the sentiment in the top right corner of the card base.
