Before we jump into today's project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don't worry, these links won't cost you a dime – they're just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let's dive into today's creative journey together!
Hello, friends! Justin Adkins here, and today I am sharing my final creation using products from the October Release! For this card, I am using the Vintage Heart Stamp Set to create a celebratory card to send to a friend! This woodgrain feature pairs so perfectly with the Cheers My Friend Word Die Set, along with the Let's Paint Stencil!
Below is a list of Picket Fence Studios products that I used to create this card:

Vintage Heart Stamp and Die Bundle
Cheers My Friend Word Die Set
Let's Paint Stencil
Thunderstorm Gem Mixes
Beyond Basics A2 Rectangle and Cover Plate Dies
Opaque Gold Paper Splatter

Now, let's get into the details for how I put this card together!

To start, I stamped out the large image from Vintage Heart in brown alcohol-marker-safe ink. I then went in and colored the image with Copic Markers and used the coordinating die set to cut the image out.

Next, taking a panel of blending cardstock, I distressed the panel with Old Paper and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks. I then placed the Let's Paint Stencil over the panel and ink blended both Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Oxide Ink, with the darker ink on the outer edge. I used the 4.125" x 5.375" rectangle die from the Beyond Basics A2 Rectangle and Cover Plate Dies to cut the shape out. I then splattered the panel with Gold Paper Splatter Watercolor, and set the panel aside to dry.

To prepare my sentiment, I took a scrap piece of orange cardstock and ink blended it with Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Ink. I then grabbed the "my friend" dies from the Cheers My Friend Word Die Set, and die cut that portion of the sentiment. I also took the "CHEERS" die cut and cut the letters from white cardstock.

I adhered my Let's Paint panel onto an A2-size card base. I then took the Vintage Heart image and adhered it to the Let's Paint panel with liquid adhesive. I took liquid adhesive to them adhere my "CHEERS" sentiment, along with the "my friend" sentiment on top of the "CHEERS" die cuts.

I finished off this card by adhering a few embellishments from the Thunderstorm Gem Mixes, and my card was completed!

Thank you so much for stopping by today for a little rustic inspiration! I hope this card gives you some ideas for how to pull in a little wood-grain fun for your next Picket Fence Studios project!
