Never Too Early for Good Tidings

I am always late when it comes to mailing things out so I try to help myself by creating Christmas cards all year.  Truthfully, even if I never sent out a Christmas card I would create them all year long.  I love the colors of Christmas, the happy sentiments and images.  I just love Christmas!  

For my first card I, used Life Changing Blender Brushes and added Distress Ink through the Candlelight Stencil. Next, I spritzed with water leaving the stencil in place.  Then I sprinkled watercolor powder and spritzed with a bit more water.  I love how the Distress Ink adds another dimension of color to the watercolor powders!  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Inside  Quotes: Christmas directly on the card front.  Lastly I added Margarita Sequins Mix! 

For the next Card, I wanted to feature the large Ho Ho Ho Sentiment but also use a similar background technique as the candlelight card.  So once again I used Life Changing Blender Brushes and randomly added red and green Distress ink on a card front.  Then, I sprinkled on watercolor powders in same color families as the Distress Ink. Lastly, I added Holiday Hopper Sequins Mix.  I am all about the fabulous Picket Fence Studios Sequins!
