Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!
Hello friends! Justin Adkins here, and today I am having some foiling fun using the new A World of Bees Fabulous Foiling Toner Card Fronts! This pack of toner panels pairs so perfectly with the Wreath Building: Greetings from Our Hive stamp set, so I paired them together to create a card!
Below is a list of product that I used to create this card:
Let's get into the details for how I pulled this card together!
The first thing that I did was take a piece of alcohol marker safe paper and stamped out my pattern using the images included in the Wreath Building: Greetings From Our Hive Stamp Set. I used the Stamp Wheel to get all of my items perfectly placed. Once done stamping, I colored up the panel with Copic Markers and distressed the edges with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink.
Next, I processed the honeycomb pattern from the A World of Bees Fabulous Toner Card Fronts with Ice Blue Storm Fabulous Toner Foil by using my Mini Minc Machine. Once this panel was foiled, I ink blended over the foil with Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink to color up the white portions of the panel.
I used the Liquid Gold Paper Splatter Watercolor to splatter both the foiled card panel and the Copic Marker Panel. Once dry, I framed both panels with Glittery Gold paper from my stash.
I offset my center card square and adhered it directly to my A2 foiled card base panel. I adhered my panel to an A2-sized card base and embellised the card with some sequins from the Aqua Seas Sequin Mix! My card was fully complete!
Thank you so much for stopping by the Picket Fence Studios Blog today! I hope my card provides you with some foiled inspiration for how you can use some of our brand new bee-themed products together with our Fabulous Foils!
