Stencil + Watercolor + Embossing Powder with Karen Reategui

Stencil + Watercolor + Embossing Powder with Karen Reategui

Hello friends! Today I’m up at Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this card where I’m featuring The Hen House Bundle, One Hot Chick Stamp and dies, Layers of Grass and Layers of Clouds Stencils. I had so much fun playing with these stamps.

Let’s begin! I started by creating this background using Distress Oxide inks plus Layers of Grass and Layers of Clouds Stencils. The clouds don’t show well in the picture but be sure they are on it. Also, I adhered a white card base at the back of the panel using glue.

Next, I stamped the hen house and eggs onto watercolor paper and I colored them using my Zig Clean Colors Real Brush markers. I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images.

Then, I stamped and heat embossed the ladies using embossing powders and die cut them using the matching dies.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment on top of my background using Picket Fence Studios Black Hybrid Ink and arranged all images using glue and foam tape.

Hope you like this card and give this stamps sets a try. You can find the list of supplies below. Have a fabulous day crafty friends!
