Foil and Thank You Cards with Karen Reategui

Foil and Thank You Cards with Karen Reategui

Hello happy crafters! Today I’m over the Picket Fence Studios blog sharing two cards. The first one is a foil card I made using transfer gel. For this card I used the Picket Fence Studios Pineapple Collage Stencil and the Something Sweet Stamp and dies. The foil and embossing powder are from WOW! For the second card, have used the Picket Fence Studios Peach and Piper stamp and dies, the Small Ways to Say Thank You stamp, the Dots Negative Die and the Layers of Grass Stencil. Additionally, I have used Copic markers, Altenew inks and WOW! Opaque Pastel Pink embossing powder.

Let’s start! I placed the stencil on top of a black A2 black panel, then applied transfer gel and and removed the stencil. I let it dry overnight.

Once it was dried, I placed on top WOW! Gold Fab Foil and put it in the laminator. I removed the foil and I got this awesome panel.

Next, I stamped some images from the Picket Fence Studios Something Sweet Stamp using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed them with WOW! Gold embossing powder.

I die cut the images using the matching dies and added them to the panel using double sided tape and foam tape.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Gold embossing powder. I added the sentiment and adhered a black card base to this panel.

For my second card, I applied pink and green shades of Altenew inks to a large panel, using the Picket Fence Studios  Life Changing Blender Brushes. Once it was dried, I die cut several times using the Picket Fence Studios  Dots Negati ve Die. Then, I adhered this panel to a white card base.

Next, I die cut three ovals and applied yellow ink to them using the Picket Fence Studios  Life Changing Blender Brushes. Additionally, I applied green ink using the Layers of Grass Stencil to each oval too. I glued these ovals on top of the background.

I stamped the images onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White and colored them using Copic markers. Then, I die cut the bunnies using the matching die. Finally, I arranged the images on top of my card and stamp the small sentiments using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed them with WOW! Opaque Pastel Pink. The “Thank You” sentiment was made using the Picket Fence Studios Small Ways to Say Thank You stamp, green Altenew inks and WOW! Embossing Clear Gloss embossing powder.

These were my cards for today and I hope you like them. I enjoyed so much using this stencil and the these cute stamps.

Have a fabulous day!

Karen
