If you’re a fan of the show Stranger Things, you’ll be familiar with: “She’s our friend, and she’s crazy.” That’s what today’s card is all about – all of us and our crazy friends!
I have a bunch of unfiled stamps on my desk last weekend. Unfiled means they are new, but haven’t been put into stamp pockets, labeled and Airtabled.
Two of these sets – one with the flamingos and one with the sentiment – just happened to be next to each other and gave me a twisted idea!
So to start out with, I stamped the three feathery friends in Innocent Pink ink for a no-line start. Then I used my Studio Pencils (I love these reasonably priced pencils – and no broken leads!) in pink, orange, yellow, and yes – blue. I found that that little pop of blue on the feathers really made it more interesting than all pink. The colors I used are Ice Blue, Orange, Pink and Black. These are available in open stock, which is a must for me with pencils, because I use some colors more than others.
Then I added one of my signature moves – googlie eyes. Then I added the sentiment from this set, stamped in Nocturne. I fully intend to disturb my friends as long as possible – how about you?

How are you disturbing your friends this week? One way that I HOPE you’re disturbing them is by mailing the cards you make. It really is our hope that you enjoy the process of cardmaking and that you share those cards with other people. You never know when your card will arrive at just the right moment. I recently found an Etsy shop with these cute little pieces of art with inspiring messages on them that you can tuck into every envelope you send. I’ve been handing them out at drive throughs too, just to try to make someone’s day brighter. Check them out – each one features an original piece of the creator’s watercolor art.
That’s such a funny card !! I left you a longer message on your personal blog. Love, Marjorie
