Have Faith

Have Faith

Hello stamping friends. It’s Lisa Henke here today sharing a water colored floral card today. One of my favorite stamp lines that PFS does fabulously is the large floral images. The Wild Rose Bouquet set from the March release is a stunner! I tried my hand at some water coloring creating some pretty pink and yellow roses. I started by inking the flowers up with Versamark ink and then using some rose gold embossing powder to give a pretty shimmer to the card. I almost left the flowers uncolored, it was so pretty as is. I might have to create another card like that soon. I decided to use some Liquid Watercolors from Taylored Expressions to add the color.

Here is a closer look at the finished panel. This giant bloom is so pretty! Once the flowers were dry, I added some light grey paint splatter and then stamped the sentiment from Wild Rose Bouquet in Instense Black ink.

Thanks for stopping by today. Keep an eye out….our April release is just around the corner.

Hugs, Lisa

Hi Lisa- thanks for sharing! Your card is really pretty! Can you please say what brand of rose gold embossing powder you used? The ones I’ve found look more brown. I like the one you used. Thanks!
