God’s Grace and a little stamp surgery

God’s Grace and a little stamp surgery

I am so excited to be posting my first project as a design team member for Picket Fence Studios. I love their products as they are so unique and there is something for everyone!

For today’s card I Copic colored a beautiful flower from the Lily Bouquet stamp. I wanted an image that was smaller than the original stamp so that I could repeatedly stamp it so I cut the stamp with scissors to isolate the flower that I wanted. No worries – this does not damage the image and you can easily put them back together to stamp the whole image.

After coloring the images with Copic markers I added a bit of grey shadowing around each flower to to create dimension. The greeting was stamped with Versamark Ink on black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I simply love this greeting – a favorite of mine on this set. Matting with some light grey cardstock finished off the card.
