Donut Card

Donut Card

Hi there, crafty friends. Happy New Year! I thought I’d share a card with a bit of humor with all of the new year resolution talk…

I stamped the image from THIS stamp set and masked it using THIS masking paper. I stamped the ray image from THIS stamp set with THIS ink and added some blending around the image. After peeling the mask away, I colored in the image with Copics and stamped a few hearts and the “donut” word from THIS stamp set.

I masked off the top of the card and applied THIS ink to the bottom. I sprayed it lightly with water to add some texture and stamped the sentiment from THIS set. I die-cut the panel with THIS die and adhered it to a black 4.5 x 4.5 inch black note card. I finished off the card by adding some of THIS to the rays and THIS to the donut for some shine.

I stamped a matching envelope with a sentiment from THIS stamp set to tie it all together…

I also like to die-cut a white panel for the inside of my black note cards so I have a place to write a message…

Thanks so much for visiting today. I hope your new year is filled with lots of crafty time. 🙂
