Crafty Wishes with Karen Reategui

Crafty Wishes with Karen Reategui

Hello friends! Today I’m up at Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this watercolor card and featuring the Just a Branch Die, Crafty Wishes Foiled Impressions, Pentagram Base Terrarium Die and Succulent Blossoms Stamp.

Let’s start! I applied watercolors in the shades of blue on a white watercolor panel. Then, I adhered a white card base at the back using glue. I also, die cut twice the Pentagram Base Terrarium Die and glued them one on top of each other.

Next, I die cut the Just a Branch Die, twice, and used Kuretake Zig Clean Colors Real Brush markers to watercolor the branches. I cut part of the branch to put it on top of the card so the Pentagram Base can hang up from it.

I stamped the flowers from the Succulent Blossoms Stamp using Distress Oxide Antique Linen and then watercolor them using Zig Clean Colors Real Brush markers and Prismacolor colored pencils.

Finally, I arranged the Pentagram Base, flowers and branches on top of the background and the Crafty Wishes Foiled Impression that was foiled using Couture Creations Iridescent Sparks Cyan Heat Activated Foil. As my final touch I added a piece of natural twine.

This was my card for today and I must say that all these products matched perfectly to create this terrarium. I’m absolutely happy with how this card turned out. I encourage you to create more terrariums and send crafty wishes to your loved ones. Have a wonderful day.

Karen
