Cooling Off with Piper

Cooling Off with Piper

Here in the south summer has arrived with hot steamy sunshine. When the temps begin to soar, I love to create winter scenes. Creating a snowy scene helps cool me off on a hot day but I also love to create cards with bright flowers and butterflies in the winter! So if you are doing your best to stay cool why not grab your stamps and dies and create a cool scene?

First, I created a snowy background with this versatile die negative.  Secondly, I stamped a winter sentiment and die cut snow from the coordinating die.  For a little sparkle, I added a bit of glitter glue to the snow. Next, I stamped, colored this sweet Piper.  Lastly, I die cut Piper with the coordinating die.  And that’s it!  A sweet winter scene on a scorching day!

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you sunshine if you are cold and a cool breeze if you are in heat advisory conditions!

What an adorable card! I love how you colored the rabbit and added glittery snow to the ground. 🙂
