Bridge Card with Karen Reategui

Bridge Card with Karen Reategui

Hello friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios Blog featuring the Woodsy Forest Die, Layers of Grass Stencil and A Bluebonnet Stamp to create this bridge card, that flatten fits an A2 envelope.

Let’s start! To create the card base I started by cutting a white cardstock 5 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ and then I scored each end at 3/4″ and 1 1/2″. Next, I place the Layers of Grass Stencil at the bottom and applied Altenew Olive and Bamboo inks.

Then, I stamped the Bluebonnet and some leaves using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed them with WOW! Clear Gloss Embossing Powder. I colored the images using Copic markers and then I cut them out by hand when they were done.

On the inside of the card, I added the Bluebonnet using foam tape and some leaves. Additionally, I stamped the sentiment using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Jealous Guy Embossing Powder.

I die cut a piece of brown and green cardstock using the Woodsy Forest Die. I glued the green die cut at the back to create a shadow.

Finally, I added a few more leaves around and a card base at the back and my bridge card was ready. I hope you enjoyed this card, I loved the process of making this fun card. Have a phenomenal day!
