Stenciled Valentine's day card with Michelle Lupton

Hello - Michelle here today! One of my favourite items from the January release from Picket Fence Studios is the "Flowers in a Heart Stencil", and I think it is very useful for Valentine's Day cards. I blended some pale pink and pale purple Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of white cardstock. (My Life Changing Blender Brush still had some yellow ink on it from another card, so the pink came out as a yellowish pink.) Hello crafty friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this floral card with a partial die cutting. I’m featuring the Eiko Girl Stamp and die, Flowers for Picking Stamp and dies, Glass Window Rainbow Die and for my sentiments I used A Pain In My Ass Stamp. Let’s create the background! I shared the second card on release day on my blog but wanted to share it here along with the top one I created after I got back home. For the first card I used Fadeout ink for no line watercoloring and the new Atelier inks...

It's still one of my favorite ways to create interesting backgrounds. I created several backgrounds with the technique and let them dry. After selecting a background I foiled and die cut it with this Two-Part Foiling and Cutting Die set. I was thrilled with the result! I am a huge fan of white and black with a bit of color so I simply...
