Hello PFS friends, Happy Monday! It’s Lisa Henke here today and I’m always thrilled when I get a chance to share a card with you over here on the PFS Blog. I hope you have been loving our 1st Anniversary Celebration and all the generous prizes and beautiful projects created. Our release last week was soooo fun! I loved so much from the release and I really loved this new set, called Dear Best Friend. The silhouette images are just so fun and then throw in a killer fonts and I am SOLD!
I started this card with stamping the sweet shopper girl with Intense Black ink and then used the Coordinating Dear Best Friend Dies to cut her out. I then got busy ink blending my background with the oh-so-loved Life Changing Blending Brushes. If you haven’t scooped these up yet…..DO IT! They make ink blending so easy and FUN! I used a strip of painters tape to mask off the ground and then blended on Distress inks in Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade. I carefully removed the tape and moved it up so I could add ink to the bottom. I then added in some “dirt” with a few dots from some Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment from Dear Best Friend with the Intense Black ink.
I mounted the whole finished panel onto a piece of b&w grid pattern paper. I popped up the shopper girl with some foam dots so she would really stand out….not that she really needed any help.
Wishing you all a fabulous week. I am sending this one out to my bestie. Who are you sending a card to this week?
