Hello Pfs fans! It’s Lisa Henke here today and I have a pretty in pink holiday card to share. I have been stencil obsessed as of late and I love the Candy Cane Lane stencil. I settled on an ombre pink to red color combo. I discovered the joys of Pixie spray and am in love. I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to add the distress inks (Spun Sugar, Festive Berries, and Candied Apples). I set is aside to dry and the got my coloring fix in (are you playing along with #thedailymarker30day challenge?) for the day.
The A Gnome Winter stamp is still one of my all time faves from PFS and I finally got my hands on the matching A Gnome Winter die. BUMMER! I just realized it is sold out but you could easily recreate this card with the Straight from the North Pole stamp. I colored him up in pinks, aqua and reds and added some foam dimensionals behind him.
Before I assembled the card I decided to make it feel more wintry. I added some flicks of white ink to create a snowy feel. Once that was dried, I went ahead and stamped the sentiment from A Gnome Winter in PFS Intense Black ink. Love it. Did you know PFS had black ink? It’s good y’all! It’s my favorite for stamping all the things. I used it to stamp the gnome before coloring. Look how bold and dark it stamps.
I mounted the finished card panel onto a piece of Piggy Bank card stock. I love the look of pink and red for holidays. I guess I am channeling my inner girly side. Have a great day! Our next release is coming soon. Stay tuned!
